Holmes Mackillop has promoted Glasgow-based Robbie McAdam from solicitor to senior solicitor within its dispute resolution and litigation team.
McAdam joined Holmes Mackillop last August having qualified with a national personal injury firm the previous year before moving to a global commercial firm.
His new role will see him oversee a range of matters including commercial disputes, property disputes, and employment matters working alongside directors Karen Condie and Craig Donnelly.
McAdam commented “I’m delighted with this promotion and look forward to assisting the expansion of our busy dispute resolution and litigation team’s services in commercial, property and insolvency litigation as well as employment, divorce and family matters.”
Congratulating McAdam on his promotion, director Craig Donnelly said: “Robbie’s promotion is richly deserved. Within six months of joining the firm, he has already proven his ability to enhance significantly our offering to clients by helping navigate them through various commercial and civil disputes with his expertise and dedication.”
McAdam regularly appears in Sheriff Courts across Scotland conducting proofs (civil trials) and procedural hearings, as well as appearing in Scottish Tribunals.
Prior to qualifying, he was a researcher with an international governmental organisation and a prominent Scottish university, researching international environmental law and international climate change law.
