Joint liquidators Titan Homes (Scotland) instructs Shepherd to set closing date on partially developed residential site and dwellings in Strathaven

Acting on behalf of joint liquidators Titan Homes (Scotland), Shepherd Chartered Surveyors has set a closing date of Wednesday 12th February at 12 noon on the sale of a partially developed residential site and dwellings in Strathaven.

The town of Strathaven, forming part of South Lanarkshire Council, benefits from strong transport links with Hamilton just a 20-minute drive. Glasgow is less than a 40-minute drive and Edinburgh less than an hour.

The area is well served by bus routes providing access to surrounding areas such as Hamilton, East Kilbride and beyond.

Strathaven Academy, located a mile from the development, serves as the main secondary school for the area which is complemented by two primary schools located nearby.

Strathaven town centre offers a diverse range of occupiers consisting of independent boutiques, local shops and larger national occupiers such as Greggs, Co-op and Aldi.

The development comprises two plots. Plot 1 comprises a part-completed residential development with Plot 2 consisting of a large plot of undeveloped land located to the north of the development.

The part completed residential development, known as ‘Cairn View’, benefits from planning permission for 14 dwellings to be constructed, providing six detached and eight semi-detached houses.

Seven of the 14 dwellings have been completed and sold, and as such do not form part of this sale. The remaining seven plots are at varying stages of construction.

Plot 1 is an irregular shape spanning approximately 1.8 acres. Plot 2, an area of undeveloped ground to the north of the site is also included, measuring 1.63 acres.

Access can be gained via the A726 Road. The subjects are covered by the South Lanarkshire Council Local Development Plan.

Adam Honeyman, partner at Shepherd, said: “The site was originally granted planning permission to construct 10 detached homes. This consent was subsequently amended to increase the number of dwellings to 14. Available in whole or in part, prospective purchasers should satisfy themselves in relation to planning prior to purchase.”

Offers are invited. Interested parties should contact the sole selling agent on tel 0141 331 2807.
