Jobs have been saved at multi-award-winning Wild Child Animation, the Stirling-based studio and contractor, following its sale by Wbg business turnaround specialists Gordon McIntyre and Donald McKinnon to Magic Light Pictures’ 100% owned Stirling Animation Studio Ltd via a pre-pack administration process.

Since 2020, Wild Child Animation has created hours of content for leading partners like Cartoon Network, Hanna-Barbera, Warner Bros., BBC, and Sky.

Magic Light Pictures is an Oscar nominated and BAFTA winning creator of family entertainment andproducer behind Zog, a series based on the much-loved picture book.

McIntyre said: “We’re delighted to secure this pre-pack administration, which has seen Magic Light’s Stirling Animation Studio purchase the business and assets of Wild Child Animation Ltd, and in doing so, 30 jobs have been saved.”
